That was actually the part that was descoped. I intend to put other indicators in as well (like a shift light). I have a specific way that I want to do it, but it will probably add a week or two to the bottom line. I basically pulled any non-implemented features or functionality that can be done without tearing the whole car apart. I will do those things next winter.

Thanks for putting that video together, even though I doubt I'll ever do anything as complex as this, there was a lot of information there about how the stock gauge works.

This little guy allows me to measure alternator current using a TinyIOx. I use the resistance of the alternator to main fuse box wire as the sense element. Range: 0-120A, 10-18V, resolution: ~500mA.

This thing actually looks like a car again. It is getting flavorful. Been a long 18 months.

Needs more hood vent. Awesome build! I can't wait to see it running.

Thanks!

I have a set of R Theorys, they will probably go in next winter. I see you have a taste of the dark side (SC) with that Lotus.

And darkness has never tasted so good! The SC delivers power in such a linear and predictable way that it makes the car very easy to drive and I'm never afraid the boost is gonna hit and I am gonna lose the *** end of the car. I do miss that low end shove of torque a turbo car has though.

I just binge-read through your build. I fear I have nothing of significance to say other than I find your work to be inspiring. The oil pressure gauge adapter was very interesting. Sub'd!

Fantastic article with all sorts of nuggets as to why I am so adamant about getting VE, voltage correction, and injector characterization configurations as accurate as possible.

Where is it leaking oil from? Front seal? Oil pump hex plug? Glad its running well, hearing it run probably gives you motivation.

Leaking from the oil filter relocation adapter, which is under the IM and behind the SC. It is probably a 4 hour job, assuming I don't have to pull the motor.

I have been motivated for a long time, but this is a huge project.

Very nice!
Everything looks logically laid out and well constructed. (I like it when things are new and clean!)

Man, you are using a lot of sensors here. You will have lots of data, once things are running.

Some questions:

What pulley ratio are you using on the SC?
Is there a separate intercooler between the turbo and SC inlet?
Do you have a target boost level you are planning to run?
You got that leak fixed yet? We want to see on road videos of boost at idle!
