Color really doesn't concern me. I coated it for temp control, not looks. form > function.
Another piece flaked off on #3 where it joins with #2, doesn't look like a crack but I'll check once it's off.
There is no way parts store header paint will survive what I do to this thing.

I'm not searching through Fae's massive thread. Got any links to his cracked manifold?

On the bright side of things. This happened on a 1:25.82 lap. For comparison, Emilio had a 1:25.28 in Crusher 4 years ago.

I don't want to search through his thread either. But he was also hanging a giant Borgwarner s366 off of it.

Pretty normal crack, it's at the heat affected zone. And handles a lot of weight.

Been busy building a shed and not working on the car. Shed is nearing completion, and with the time change daylight is scarce so I've finally been able to work on the car.

Out with the old, cracked, straight vain rotors, and in with curved goodness. Wilwood Spec 37. Safety wire because racecar.

That was technically from a while back, same night I pulled the manifold off. It was cracked 3/4 of the way around. Abe added some molten metal and gussets and now hopefully it will not crack.

Manifold sat for a couple weeks and finally last week something got done about it.
Something like install some new fire sleeve on the oil feed line. It may have saved my car from a firey death at Hallett.

Much better
