I bet it will outflow a log manifold with center mounted turbo. This style doesn't have any runners pointing at each other, no exhaust waves colliding directly against each other.

Doubt it. Two factors that affect spool are the manifolds internal area, and DP/exhaust size. The smaller the area to fill before the turbine, the faster the spool; the bigger the dp/exhaust, the faster it will spool. This is as good as it gets for spool unless he wants to go with a 3.5" DP/exhaust. Whaddayasay WonTon?

just got an update from the guy who is putting my engine together!

he dropped the cylinder head into the vat and it should be clean enough on Monday to prep and assemble. everything should be ready to assemble next sunday. i just need to order a waterpump, timing belt and a gasket kit for the engine if i want it to pretty much be a turn key motor.

im gonna look into getting one of the gasket kits off ebay, anybody have any experience with them?

So is that high enough to fit over the power steering pump?

EDIT: I'll just email Abe.

Don't know how it performs, but that manifold sure does look good, and all of that room for a DP looks damn good. Looks high enough to clear accessories too. I'd like to see more forward positioned manifold like that for easier DIY downpipe design. I hate working in such tight quarters and making a 90+ degree bend right out of the turbo.

only update i got is payment to finish all the hot parts will be sent soon and hopefully my engine will get put together this weekend. i am also waiting for some 3.63 gears to come my way . after all that i gotta pick up a clutch, ecu, injectors, another torsen, radiator, IC and pipes. < that is just to get the car running (excluding wants)

that is one of the biggest reasons why i wanted my mani built like this. its very simple and should be very easy to install. not to mention very easy to inspect for problems......

yeah a 90+ degree bend deff does no good for spool!
