I have a 1990 Mazda MIata for sale, in USA - Michigan.

Mileage: 13xxxx miles
VIN: JM1NA3512L015048
Engine Size: 1.6, 1.8, 1.9, 2.5

Asking price is $9000 OBO

Well, the time has come in life to make some important decisions. With the start-up of my new business, funds need to be raised. Hence the racecar being put up for sale.

Car was purchased with the intent of building a dominant TTB class car, that would eventually get boosted and was planned to run in TTU. Car is currently a completely stripped rolling chassis. No carpet, no hood, no fenders, no front bumper, wiring harness removed, ect. Car is prepped to install the cage. All items have been professional removed, with extreme car taken to not damage any wire, nut, bolt ect.

All stock items come with the car, with the exception of the stock carpet, and inner door panels. I used them in my new street car, lol
Only things left to purchase for the car to be completion ready is a race seat. Everything else needed to go out and compete is included, just needs assembled.

On to business
Early 1990 1.6 car. Power steering, non abs chassis. Clear green title. 13x’xxx miles on the chassis. Will include 10ae blue hardtop with defroster if full purchase price is met.

Undercarriage is extremely clean. Car was originally from Kentucky, was brought up by a young woman attending The University of Michigan. She had a timing belt break on it, and proceeded to sell it to me. Frame rails have no damage, nor rust. All frame rails/bumper mounts/control arms are straight and true.
Passenger door has been prepped for cage install, (i.e. removed window regulator, cut inner skin for door bars), Drivers door is still intact. I will include two complete spare complete door assemblies.

Stock brakes, suspension, all running gear still on car.

Front drivers fender got damaged during transport, (my fault, forgot how fat I was), as such it has been removed. There is also a dent behind the passenger door that has been knocked out. Not perfect, but more than perfect for a racecar.

Soft top was ----, so it got removed. Will come with the car, just not currently installed

Original 1.6 engine. Slapped a timing belt on it, ran compression numbers, resulted in 168 psi across the board. Drove it around the block, still pulled strong. Then I proceeded to rip it out. Lol

Built N/A 1.9 - The motor is a bp 1.8 bored to a 1.9. Its a 97 block with a 99 head, shaved, ported and polished, 5 angle valve job, new valves and springs and shims, carillo a beam rods, wiesco 11:1 pistons, Spec lightened aluminum flywheel and 6 puck clutch assembly, balanced & blueprinted to 9000 rpms. Motor has 1527 miles on since it was assembled. After assembly the compresson is close to 11.5:1. I have recipets for close to 10k into the motor alone.

Included will be a hydra nemesis 2.6 with a base map loaded on it. Still in original box.

Also included will be the full racing beat exhuast system. Header, mid pipe, and muffler. Spare 99 intake manifold, COMPLETE 97 wiring harness, gauge cluster (odometer, speedometer, ect) stock ecu, wideband and LC1+ with software.

Will also include a diy MS with adapter for 97 harness.

The motor was built by Doug Hess of Hess precision machining. Doug is a 25 year engine builder of lingenfelter, who recently started his own shop.
While Doug is extremely well versed with amercian v8's, the quality and depth of his work is yet to be surpassed by anyone i have ever dealt with. The attention to the lttlest details, and the fact that he spent three months researching the best of the best machining process for my little motor, just reinforced that it was well worth the money.

Eventual plans for the motor were to rotrex it and run it off of e85. I figured the internals were good for 6-700 horsepower, why not shoot for 500? Lol

Also included in sale is a complete 95 longblock. No electronics, just hard parts. Motor ran well when pulled, the head is loose, as I took it off to inspect the bores.

Car will come with two 5 speeds. Both in great working condition.

1-complete set of 0 mile Flyin Miata vmaxx coilovers Combined with front sway bar would make a dead reliable fun setup. Not as good as Xidas, but still quite fun if combined with the front sway. unopened
1-set of koni yellows with GC coilovers 750 front, 450 rear. 1 front tube has a dent and needs replaced, all have under 2000 miles on them.

+ all of the stock replacement components that I have gathered over owning 5 na miata so far. Lol

All in all, if I had to put a dollar amount invested, I’ve got well north of $20k into all of these items.

Again, if I were not trying to start a business, I would not be selling these items.

I really hope that someone wanting to get involved in road racing comes across this ad, because I would love to see someone benefit from my perseverance.

I also have a low mileage ford probe KL v6 that I can include in the sale for additional $. I had planned on eventually competing with a v6.

There are a few items that I would be interested in keeping, namely the hardtop, the torsen, the v6, and the aero. If those items are kept, price will reflect to $7000 obo.
