Up for sale is my 1992 Mazda Miata FMII Turbo in 5 Speed Manual Transmission. 175,000 miles and counting. In original limited edition Sunburst Yellow which only appeared in 1992 and only 1519 ever made.

Absolutely no problems, car starts, runs and drives. Still currently my daily driver. You get what you'd normally expect from a 20+ yr old car, small rust on the rear rockers, dents, dings, some paint mismatch. Never dynoed but I estimate the car makes ~240hp/200ftlb.

Asking $5300 WITHOUT the hardtop. $6000 WITH the hardtop.










Coolant reroute is a recent mod so not pictured here.

Hey Raybrant,

I'm interested in the Miata you have for sale. I live in Michigan but am from upstate New York and visit folks often so I have the means to be in New York to see the car depending on where you're located.

The car looks very clean from the pictures, do you have any pictures of the rust mentioned? Any other pictures? How is the fabric top? Did you do these mods on the car or did you buy it this way? Usually I steer clear of NY cars just because of the possibility for bad rust but this looks like a nice car and I'm looking to get a hold of one that is properly modded for autoX and daily driving which this seems to fit. The car is a bit high mileage, what kind of maintenance records do you have for the vehicle? How many owners?

To answer your questions here so everyone else can see:

- Here's some pictures of the aforementioned rust






Yup, it has rust. But it's not too bad, just not perfect and rustless as some southern cars. Priced accordingly for this.

- The soft top is from an NB, glass window with defrost lines. In perfect condition. New seals.

- I bought the car turboed. I did some TLC, retuning and the coolant reroute.

- I have maintenance records from the last owner. I don't have any shop receipts for my time owning it as I'm a DIY-er. I have my own logs though that you can have.

- I am the 5th owner.
