Gents.

Posting here for posterity or with a lack of interest it will likely just find its way to the wreckers. Ideally, someone else sees value in what I see as garage space. You could disrespect it as you see fit and turn it into some sort of hoonigan shopping cart, spec miata, or a full up S1 build for supermiata which would garner some admiration depending on your talent as a driver.

The goods: 1994 "Laguna" Blue shell that may or may not roll depending on a conversation about how much money from (free to ~$1400) you want to spend on it. Right now, the suspension is a freshly painted, energy suspension bushing converted factory arms with all fresh mazda bolts. Based on prioritymazda's price scheme, that alone could cost a man $400-$600 plus labor. Also potentially included is a set of 949 rotors and g-loc pads bedded with stainless lines. New clutch master cylinder and extended line as well. Also if we go for the rolling stock method, it would include factory daisy wheels and worn out NB shocks. It could have a hood with singular motorsports vents(~$150) and aerocatch latches($65).

It "could" include an engine. Think 180k 1.8L BP which started consuming lots of oil and would need a rebuild. Block is good and so is the head, they are just not physically attached to the car. (~$300)

I'm open to a conversation. If someone wants the shell fo'free. You would need a truck, trailer, and winch and not expect any of the shiny bits aforementioned. If that method is too silly as it would also involve harbor freight roller dollies, we could leave stuff bolted on.
The gist. Its only a car in that it has a clean title in my name, not a salvage one and a CA title. I can give you a detailed history of it for the past 5 years of ownership to this point. Never tracked, never wrecked. Just disassembled. and attempted to be reassembled with much failure, embarrassment, and cost.

Its a shell. No engine, transmission, dash, top, seats, carpet, or otherwise terribly useful things that would make it a car. The factory color was resprayed probably 8+ years ago and since faded and now peels a bit. Not great but if you are ripping around buttonwillow, who cares.



If the result of this post is a bunch of m.net or craigslist types that show up and ask if I can drop if off at their trailer park, the answer is no. You have to physically be able to assist with this relocation. I've got a fair number of parts as well that won't be transferred to the new car so if you are interested in a factory NA8 tan interior, NB seats, robbins top, clutch, or a racing beat header, let me know. This post is primarily for the shell though.
