I had a chance to weigh it this weekend. 2199 with a little over half a tank of gas and no passenger seat. There are still areas where weight can be removed: rear stock fenders under the overlays, iron->aluminum diff housing, shorter/side exit exhaust, lighten trunk lid + remove release, rear insert for license plate, and other stuff.

As it sits: 55/45. Same problem as light turbo BP track cars. All the easy to remove weight is near the back.

I have been around a few V8 Miata's and this one is done better than the others. Great deal for someone at 26k+

Sorry to see you sell it Mike. I was hoping we could run on track together before this day came.

gets out hack saw.... my car scales at 2400.... :(

For a V8 car, that is not bad at all actually. My split is worse than that with the turbo and big intercooler up front.
