That ************ originally listed it for $1000 then jacked the price up when there was a lot of interest.

Good luck. I bet the deal changes by the time you get there. Something like "someone just offered me X dollars(an amount over $2000)"

to be honest i dont even have the money. I'm more curious than anything. I would love to buy it and then split the hardtop and car up, fix the car up and sell it.... But borrowing 2000 from a friend or brother is a lot to ask.

With all those problems he'd be lucky to get 1000, if i were him id take the 1000 and run. My 91 is in 100% perfect shape inside and out, and i only paid 2000 for it.

this is a 94 AND HAS A HARDTOP.

I am second guessing even bothering going down there tho. By the time i fix all the small problems it wont even be worth it just to get a free hardtop.

EDIT:

fastcolt... where are you from?

****, I bet if you showed up tomorrow before he gets any MORE interest and waved $1800 cash in his face you could drive it home.

People pay $800 for hardtops year round, so you could easily sell that.

High miles, rocker rust, and no high beams doesn't make it a junker by any means.

yeah. im hoping to get this guy on the phone and see whats up.

The first miata i looked at a few years ago when i was rushing to get one was "newly painted in excellent condition".

It turned out to be a 1.6L with the worst garage paint job i have ever seen.... white tail pipe and all. The only benefit was how clean the interior was. I RAN away from that car.

and then bought the second POS i ran into. I wish i waited and found a perfect shell.

You should see the New England cars that are kept outside.

My friend said the same thing when he emailed the guy when it was listed at $1000, no reply. Then it was listed at $2000.

This guy sounds like a piece of **** just by reading his post.
I will go ahead and email him an offer of $600 with a bullshit devaluating story.
Hopefully someone can get a good deal.
$600-because I barely missed a 95 with 64K front end damage, and I have most parts to fix it, this morning. Pissed!!! I needs a non-oil-burning motor!!!
Sorry
end rant
