Car is located in Indianapolis
Asking price is $8,000 - that is with all the parts listed at the end of the ad as well as the extra VVT engine. Price is negotiable if you do not want the extra stuff.

So I'm selling my NA Miata which I've had since early 2014. I bought this car when it was bone stock and have built it up to what it is today. It kills me to sell it after all the time and money I've put into it but I've decided to move on and try to find myself an FD RX-7.

So some quick details on the car. It's a 97 M-Edition and the original color is green but its vinyl wrapped with 3M Gloss Deep Blue Metallic. It is running on a custom built Megasquirt 2 standalone and was professionally dyno tuned and made 201 hp and 187 lb-ft at 8psi on a Mustang dyno. The turbo kit was pieced together by myself and since it has been set up it has required very little maintenance. It starts up every time and has never left me stranded including the time I drove this car to Florida and back without a single issue. Like all aftermarket turbo cars with this much done it does have some quirks but nothing that impedes its drive-ability.

Overall it's an insanely fun car and is hands down the most fun car I've ever driven. It always gets a ton of looks and compliments. It makes amazing turbo noises and it handles like you wouldn't believe.

I'll start out with some of the cons and get that out of the way:
-It needs a new exhaust - The exhaust on it cracked near the rear axle and was then cut off and then later the downpipe cracked and was patched up. The only reason I haven't fixed this properly is because I have a new turbo and manifold waiting to go on which will require a new exhaust.
-It does not have any emissions equipment on it
-The seats are bolted to the floor so we would have to adjust those after you buy it. (I'm 6'4" so they're low and far back)
-The paint under the wrap is not in great shape
-The car has some dents and dings but no major damage
-Those quirks I mentioned earlier. I'd have to explain them over the phone or show you. Again nothing major though
-I lost a center cap and keep forgetting to order a new one
-2 Wheels have slight curb rash
-Front lip is cracked (I can get you a new one they're like $40 on Amazon)


So onto the mod list which I'll break down by category

Brakes:
-NB Sport rear brakes,
-Stainless steel brake lines
-Hawk pads on all 4 corners with decent life left
-Wilwood Prop valve
-Brake system fluished with high temp stop-tech performance brake fluid about 5k miles ago
-Master cylinder brace

Suspension:
-BC type BR 24 way adjustable coilovers with upgraded spring rates; 10k front 8k rear
-Eibach front and rear adjustable sway bars
-949 Racing adjustable end links
-New camber bolts on all 4 corners
-Strut tower brace
-Door bushings


Wheels/Tires
-Rota Shakotan 15x9 wheels
-Hubcentric rings
-Blox extended lugnuts
-New (as in less than 1,000 miles on them) 245/40R15 Hancook RS4 tires

Engine/Turbo/Trans
-Original 1.8L engine that just hit 150k
-Timing belt, water pump and every seal that possibly relates replaced about 10k miles ago
-Doesn't leak anything at all
-New rear main seal
-Polyurethane 70 Duro Motormounts
-Custom Megasquirt II standalone built by MSLabs with launch control, electronic boost control and a massive list of fail-safes tuned into it.
-Tuned by DK Goodrich Tuning - haven't had an issue since it was tuned over 2 years ago
-Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors
-Flying Miata cast manifold modified to a T3 flange and external wastegate
-38mm wastegate (I think it's TurboConcepts?) open dump
-T3/T4 AiResearch watercooled turbo (AiResearch is an old sub brand of Garrett)
-HKS Blowoff valve
-Custom intercooler piping
-VW Passat stage II intercooler
-K&N filter
-Original 5-speed trans with new seals and Ford Motorcraft synthetic trans fluid
-5X Racing bronze shifter bushing and race spec shifter rebuild kit with both boots
-ACT extreme duty clutch (good to 271 lb-ft)
-ACT throwout and pilot bearnings
-ACT ProLite 9lb flywheel
-New clutch master and slave cylinder
-Stainless steel extended clutch line

Body
-Autokonexion 40mm front and rear fiberglass flares
-Hard Dog Double Diagonal Roll bar with harness bar
-APR GT3 mirrors (Still have stock electric mirrors)
-GV Front lip (cracked but not super noticeable)

-I swapped the dash for a NA6 dash. Much cleaner look in my opinion. It's not missing a single tab everything is there.

-Custom passenger seat brackets

-9K Racing carbon steel wrinkle red shift ****
-Pioneer bluetooth headunit
-Kenwood door speakers and tweeters
-Sun visor delete with extra led dome lights installed in visor holes


Well I think that's it... I think...
Writing all of that kind of makes me not want to sell it...

I seriously have about every receipt for every one of these parts in the folders pictured.

Oh yeah I almost forgot have a few parts that I'll let go with it for the right price. I was planning on changing up the turbo system and doing a bunch more stuff to it so I have some extra goodies.
- Brand new 38mm Tial wastegate V-Band
-Custom made stainless steel forward facing turbo manifold
-Brand new GT28R Ball Bearing polished v-band turbo
-AEM methanol injection kit and gauge

And to top it off a spare VVT engine out of a NB2 Miata with right around 100k miles. Pulled it from my friends running Miata to do a Ecotech swap. I originally planned on building it and swapping it in later.


So make me an offer on it. I am not going to part it out. I don't want to trade unless you have an FD RX-7 in which case I'd throw cash on top.

I want this car to go to a good home and am happy to help the new owner get accustomed to the vehicle and make sure they enjoy it as much as I did. I also think I have an extra passcode so you can download TunerStudio onto your computer to adjust things to your liking and later retune it for the new turbo.

Last thing: I have no way to prove this but the previous owner (older lady that I bought the car from 4 years ago) told me the original owner of this car was Rob Parissi.

Again I have no way to confirm this but who would make up something that obscure?
Not sure if it adds any value to you but I think it's a funny story.
