Actually you might be able to fuel the motor enought for 400whp with 550cc and a fpr.
But I still don't think he has 400whp

On the RC site, given a bsfc of .6 and a max duty cycle of 80%, 400 horsepower at the crank would would want a fuel pressure of 87psi with ~550s. fwiw.

That's just how the RC injector sizing calc has it. Point is, you would need a **** ton of pressure on 550s to make anywhere near that kind of juice.

So let me get this straight OP....

You built this "awesome" Miata you're trying to sell (or trade whatever)...only it's not as awesome as you hyped it up to be, and you're tired of catching crap from your musclecar buddies, so you decided to just join 'em since you couldn't beat 'em.

I say you're a quitter with a crappy build.

But I'd love to see video that proves me wrong.

i know the injectors have a big part in providing the fuel and 550s are more than enough. Also i meant to say that to make atleast 400 you would need the 255

however about the fuel pump im not trying to say you are wrong but,

"Cross referencing the flow data with the chart in Corky Bell's book "Maximum Boost", we can obtain the following data"
190L/Hr pump is good for ~280HP
255L/Hr pump is good for ~510HP
255HP pump is good for ~610HP

^more of a recommendation. 190 liters per hour is 3166cc/min, or 791cc x 4 injectors at 100% duty.

in for fail

No book to quote here, but I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary. Ask yourself why I might say that.

wow u guys have a lot of time on ur hands...
haha... its a walboro 190hp it can push enough fuel for 600hp.. ive seen it done before... its not running any of the stuff on the motor in those old *** pics..
ur correct that a stock 16g runs out of steam at 370hp.. however if you payed attention i said that this has about $1000 in work to the internals..
the old post where i was running 25psi with 225 hp was on a dyno run with a fpr and the link at the same time!! if u guys know anything about cars then you will know why i was making ONLY 225hp at that point..
also.. 550 can run upto 475hp..depending on ur settings.....
i do not wanna sell it for cash...
ps my block alone cost more than most of motors on this site complete.... fyi...
yes it does have a/c now.. thanks to some custom work by seth...
if you guys doubt this car... call seth and ask about jasons silver miata...and while your at it call s&a motors who built the engine with all the parts i sent them.... it was dynoed at drt 3 weeks ago at 397 hp.....
keep talking **** all day...

Let's just say your car is exactly what you say it is...

Is there even a person on this forum that owns a Mustang? It just confuses me why you thought a Miata Turbo forum would be a good place to sell. People on here either have a turbo miata, or are building their own turbo miata.

+1 artie

i've never heard of a shop fudging numbers to make a customer happy with what he built, have any of you guys?

where in queens cause if you're by the southern shore there is no point in going to dealer alt.

take the belt to the verrazano to the staten island express way, to the 440 south, take the outerbridge crossing. get off for route 9 north and follow signs for the woodbridge mall. (i grew up in queens)

we all live in central NJ and dealer alt is like an hr and a half from us.
