You mean because the bill basically writes the top 1% an open check and with some crumbs for the middle and low class that Trump will get back with further increase in tariffs? An average person making 40k a year spends 12-1500 on tarrifs. Who gives a shit that my "taxes" went down 300-400 bucks in the end?

Are you trying to insinuate that Nancy's The "republican" bill went through 5 bipartisan committees before it went to the floor after 48 hours of rigourous debate and compromise between parties. Nancy flew in from CA, and handed Americans a bunch of progressive bullshit that is not designed to help anyone. In the "open check" bill, it limited excutive compensation to $425,000, restricted stock buybacks, and maintained payrolls until the loans are paid back. Read that again: the loans must be repaid. But you know, those companies could just fire their employees instead of continuing to employ and pay them...almost like this bill was designed as a zero-interest loan program to compensate businesses harmed by government lockdown to keep the economy alive. These are things in the Green New Deal Emergency Relief To Americans Package:
But, we all know you won't and you'll continue this: https://scontent-bos3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...90&oe=5EA020D2 Don't forget, while Trump was declaring a national emergancy and closing our borders with China, Democrats were still trying to impeach him and call him racist for doing so. It was only until Feb 5, the day he was accquited, democrats finally took up the Cornavirus issue in subcommittee. Don't let a good pandemic go to waste, amirite?! Honk. Im so horny right now. |
According to MSNBC host Chris Hayes, conservatives, Republicans and Donald Trump are ready to kill a "million" senior citizens as a way of saving the economy from the coronavirus. Hayes said, "And now, after about a week of that economic dislocation, as we continue to climb up the exponential curve of cases and of deaths, the President is now listening to voices on the right that say, 'Really, what's a million seniors when you're thinking about the whole economy?'" He added, "This has been a central conservative, right wing idea forever. It's the same reason there are arguments for why we don't need clean air regulations, even if tens of thousands of people die every year of lung disease from additional pollution. It's just now it's being applied in this extreme case in the midst of a global pandemic and a growing exponential curve." |
I’m old enough to remember when death panels were a thing pushed by the conservatives.

Does giving a family $3k really matter if they still don't have a job, or somewhere else to get one in a month? |

I would hate to be a blue collar democrat worker in PA and live in a Hyman Properties building and rely on the Democrats I put into office to help me in my time of need right now.

(Statements such as the above are confusing with zero context. I have no idea who Hyman Properties is, or what makes their buildings unique.) |

Ah, so they require that people pay rent in exchange for not being kicked out?
Man, that's rough. Never heard of a landlord who had that policy before.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled last week that no one can be evicted, ejected or otherwise displaced from a home because of failure to make rent or mortgage payments during a court shutdown, which will extend through at least April 3. |
Well hopefully the $25,000,000 for additional salary for House of Representatives will help Hyman Residents even further.

Impossible. The mayor of Tulsa is a Republican, and therefore a nazi. Nazis only care about shoveling people into death-camps and saying that there are only two genders. |
