Much of the justification for the strict, wide-ranging shutdowns came from the health experts claiming that COVID-19 can be spread by people who don’t have symptoms, and therefore everyone must be quarantined because anybody can be a spreader.
Today, however, the World Health Organization announced that asymptomatic spread of the coronavirus is “very rare”. The news casts doubt on initial concerns by some researchers that the disease could be difficult to contain due to asymptomatic infections.
“From the data we have, it seems to be rare that an asymptomatic person actually transmits onward to a secondary individual,” Dr. Maria Van Kerkhove, head of WHO's emerging diseases unit, said at a news briefing. “It's very rare.”
“We have a number of reports from countries who are doing very detailed contact tracing. They're following asymptomatic cases. They're following contacts. And they're not finding secondary transmission onward. It's very rare,” Van Kerkhove said.
NBC News: “If asymptomatic spread proves to not be a main driver of coronavirus transmission, the policy implications could be tremendous.”

I've been arguing this **** on my local reddit, the amount of butthurt is glorious. They absolutely refuse to admit they were wrong and just double down on calling me a racist and a retard. When Trump wins again in November I'm going to throw the biggest party.

We are all individuals.
There are plenty of non-blacks taking part in the demonstrations and rioting.
Lots of "people of color" trying to better themselves and their families by following the path of getting a job and learning a profession and fitting into traditional society.
I was born on the wrong side of the tracks in what everybody knew as "n I g g e r town" with our family being about as poor as you can get.
We had running water and electricity and city sewer but that was just about all.
The local prostitution "cribs" were just across the street from our house and when the wind blew one direction the refinery stink was overwhelming.
When it blew from another direction the stink from the meat packing plant was just as bad.
When the river flooded our house had water 3 feet deep and it stunk like dead fish for a long time afterwards.
I personally never graduated college but did go to trade school and became a draftsman.
My best friend in grade school never really learned to read and write and last I saw of him was when he did odd jobs and manual labor as a teenager.
Please do not lump everybody of color as being deadbeat welfare rioter criminals.

See, I say a lot of shock value things that have a good dose a truth to them...
The riots at this point is all antifa and communists, who use the manufactured strife of the black community as a tool. But if we fail to realize there a real systematic problem with black culture, there's nowhere we can go but down; diversity will never be a strength.
I for one would love to see the black community saved, restored, and flourish.
I also think if you look at the warrior cop thread, it's clear that I think there's a huge problem with policing in this country. But I don't believe it's from racism, but leftist policies/protections, and simply becoming power hungry and jaded. Cops have to deal with the same stupid *** fuckwads day in and day out -- they reach a point of not giving a **** whatsoever, coupled with their training to shoot first and hide behind the union later.
