Wow, I didn't notice how old this was and was confused by Bahurd posting Robb M. a few times. I guess I haven't noticed revived threads because I always choose "new posts" and have always assumed they are newer, active topics. I haven't thought about it because, like concealer404 said, no other forum I regularly visit has this crap option.

I had "related threads" disabled yet I still see a "Related Topics" box below. I can click in upper right corner to collapse/hide it but why is it there at all? Isn't that what SEARCH is for? The newest post is 14 months old, the oldest is almost 8 years old!

I ******* hate "related threads." When you're on your phone browsing in desktop mode (like a civilized human being with a 5"+ phablet) rotating to landscape from portrait randomly jumps you all over the page. Multiple times I've had it drop me into some thread that was years old and I had no idea how I'd gotten there. What a terrible system.

"What a terrible system."

That pretty much sums it up. But hey, look how many more pageviews internet brands got to claim in that brief time before people stopped coming to this forum.
