unfortunate news for sure. I thought I remember hearing he did not know how to drive stick prior to the first FF film but that could be totally wrong. the way he read his lines, 'motec systems exhaust" or something similar in the first film would support that but that may have been the way his lines were written. obviously he was more into cars later and apparently had a collection and was affiliated with a shop but hooning on the street in a CGT is retarded given its reputation for less than telepathic handling. he should be remembered for his extensive charity efforts, not the FF franchise that the media constantly highlights, completely disregarding his other work.

B) There has been some speculation that there was a mechanical failure on the vehicle (specifically, a power steering pump that spilled fluid and caused steering issues).

C) I have read that the car made multiple impacts with various trees and a light pole, not just the one tree near where it came to rest.
