I don't like that Santorum stares at the ground while he speaks.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...zGBQ_blog.html

This ought to be entertaining. If someone is willing to renounce their citizenship over paying taxes, well, it frames the entire tax argument in an entire new light.

I'm going to be interested to see what the discussion is on this article, especially considering it has interesting interaction between federal and state agencies.

It's definitely an interesting counter-argument to much of what I've heard people talk on here about.

We demand that banks reduce the principal on our mortgages to the current appraised values...because we didn't buy our houses as homes that we planned on living in for extending time, we bought them as...damn...you got me...

How about a 'restoring the definition of a home' movement. Everyone that I know that bought a house as a home and not a launching block to wealth seems to be doing just fine.

I enjoy that part where Jesse Jackson spoke of spending a “mere $900 billion” in taxpayer dollars for the federal government to directly hire 15 million workers at $40,000 per year.

I also like the parts where the mention reoccupying vacant houses--but oyu know they don't mean to give it back to the person that lost the house in the firs tplace--they just want it for themselves.

looks like two senators showed up talked about progressive tax reform and getting billionaries to pay thier fair share.

No mention of MLK...

Hah, well, Obama is right about it Viper. You have no idea how seriously disappointed I was in every single one of those political candidates when I saw that.

/Inb4 the "OMGWTFOBAMASAIDITITCANTBERIGHT!!!!!!" brigade arrives. Sorry bros, but Obama got it right on this one. You don't do that ---- to a soldier as a politician pursuing the commander in chief role.

Related to that, the same candidate:

Good post Josh
It's not really a good post for me, I mean, I personally agree with Obama on equality that every American citizen rightfully deserves, but OMG do we not agree on nearly everything else. However, don't let it seem like I wasn't against him defending the soldier just because it was him, no, I was very proud of Obama for doing that. That is what we need from our leaders. Political inconvenience is NO EXCUSE to treat someone like that.

This upcoming election is going to be absolutely horrible for me. On one hand, I agree with most of the politics of the right, but I seriously hate all their personal views when it comes to religion and how they spout about "how things should be" such as reinstating Don't Ask Don't Tell and giving billions away to churches.

If I haven't made this clear by now, I hate organized religion. I believe it's the most disgusting and vial thing ever to be in existence on this planet.

Voting for Obama makes me sick to my stomach. I can't agree with half of his political agendas/ideas.

This is not going to be fun.

In all seriousness?

Welcome to the dilemma plaguing most of the country. Except for Paul, the other Republican candidates are....disgusting. Paul is far from perfect, but the Republican party is doing everything they can to try to make him not get elected.

Seriously, when my vote comes down to (Obama or Paul) over (Every other Republican regardless), there's a problem.

Yeah, sorry bro. Gingrich is the biggest scumbag in the race. As much as I get on about some of the candidates, okay, I could deal. Not Gingrich. If Gingrich actually gets the nomination, there is no justice or anything left that is right in our electoral system. Anyone who can seriously say they support him is willfully ignoring Gingrich's past political history as well as his, shall we say, extremely shaky standards.

Gingrich isn't like, say, Romney for me. I see a lot of hypocrites who say Obama is the worst president ever, but then support Romney. If you support Romney, you could just as easily support Obama, minus the R or D in front of their names. Seriously, if you can ignore their political party and just look at their legislative history, they are scarily similar.

No, Gingrich is just a morally corrupt lifetime politician whose word is worth only as much as the highest bidder has paid for it.
