We need instant runoff elections, but I don't see any way of that changing because the two parties are too entrenched.

Maybe if you take the money away and run 100% publicly funded elections, you would at least have a chance. But that is the opposite of the way we are going now.

How would that work, exactly? Would anybody who wanted to run for President be able to claim public money for their campaign? Would only those candidates who have been sanctioned by one of a small number of officially-recognized organizations be eligible to claim the money?

What would happen if a third party which is not directly affiliated with a candidate decided to independently create and air political advertizing using money collected from corporations and privately-funded special-interest groups?

...which brings us to the point I made in another thread. You can legislate away, it wont solve the problem. People just dont want CSPAN. They want WWE Raw. And they will get it. You can try to ban BS. People will just switch to sheep manure and keep buying bigger spoons.

The only hope (and I use the word loosely) is to raise a crop of kids who actually enjoy thinking critically.

I take that back. The real hope is that public disgust with both parties reaches a point where we actualy get some other options.

Romney just down right scares me. Like seriously, everytime he talks makes me wish I dated the slenderman. I want a recall on candidates.

First, I want to say that I am amazed at how poorly written this article is. Also it is incredibly biased.

Healthcare has become divisive and costs us all trillions. I think we should make it illegal. Its just fat cat corporations who profit from it.
