There are so many occupations and services in this world that people take for granted. Delivery people are just one of them. Remembering to tip the people who deliver your food is important, it directly affects how much they make. So when delivery people get slighted, it’s a big deal.

The other night, a Reddit user delivered a pizza. The total was $22.67 and the couple receiving it gave him $23.00 and told him to keep the change. Less than a dollar on nearly a $25.00 bill is an abysmal tip. But then something awesome happened.

This is my fiance. He noticed someone had left their window down in the rain this morning and despite being late for work, dropped everything and sealed the window with a trash bag and painter's tape. I'm just really proud of him (he does this kind of stuff everywhere he goes) and it's just a reminder that there ARE good guys out there and they are imgurians! Just over 3 weeks until our wedding!

A concerned Baltimore City resident spent $15,000 to bail a complete stranger out of jail on Thursday. Jennifer Bartley witnessed the arrest of Calvin Wilkes, 25, and two others at the Inner Harbor in April and says the scene, "was one of the worst things I've ever seen."

The arrest caught the attention of bystanders, including Bartley, who says she was stunned by the police tactics that caused one of the suspects to bleed from the mouth -- a use of force that has prompted an internal affairs investigation.

Police charged Wilkes and two others with trespassing and resisting arrest. But in addition to criminal charges a judge had imposed a strict "cash only" bail condition on Wilkes. The so-called "cash only" restriction bars suspects from using a bond or personal property to make bail.

Friends and colleagues told FOX45 they were concerned the little known bail provision would hinder the progress of a man they describe as a tireless advocate for homeless youth.

"Here's a kid who's trying and succeeding, and now we're worried he'll lose his job," said Nyasha Dixon, a colleague who works with Wilkes advocating for homeless teens. Last Wednesday Wilkes was supposed to lead a discussion at University of Maryland's Carey School of Law on the challenges faced by young people living on the margins in violent and impoverished neighborhoods.

Wilkes also volunteers at the 'Yes Drop In' center that caters to homeless youth and holds down a job at McDonalds while taking classes at the Community College of Baltimore City.

Bartley caught part of the police confrontation on camera and says she felt that the officers were using excessive force on a homeless man trying to start a new life.

"I just feel like it’s one more way the police are crossing their boundaries," Bartley said. "If they think people can't come up with $15,000 cash bail to release him from jail they are wrong. People like me are going to be outraged."

Wilkes was tased during the scuffle and taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Police say the entire incident could have been avoided had the three heeded the warning from Harborplace Security Guards.

Debra Titus, 59, was driving her pick-up truck on Saturday afternoon when she accidentally drove into the water at South Meadow village in Carver, Massachusetts. Her truck quickly sank underwater with her and her two dogs, Moochie and Stitch, inside.

Debra and Stitch managed to get free, but Moochie was still stuck inside when Officer David Harriman arrived.

The police man quickly took off his gun belt and dove underwater to save Moochie. The water was very murky, but Officer Harriman managed to pry open the truck’s door and found Moochie in the back seat. He told the Boston Herald that Moochie was unconscious when he pulled Moochie to the surface but when he gave the dog a “little squeeze” the dog came to.

Two years after Murphy the golden retriever vanished during a camping trip in California’s Tahoe National Forest, he’s been found alive and well.

The dog first went missing in October 2012. His owners, the Braun family, always held out hope they’d find Murphy again.

Finally, earlier this month, a camper spotted the dog eight kilometres from where he first disappeared, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The camper then contacted the Brauns, who travelled back to Tahoe National Forest.

They spent days looking for Murphy without success, then left items with their scent at the camp site. The trick worked.
