Reminds me of a time back in high school. Me and a buddy are driving to work down a fifteen mile long, straight road with nothing on either side for at least a mile. I was in my IROC, he was in a big block 70's Chevy 3/4 ton. We were both doing at least triple digits, but weren't "racing" as much as just recklessly speeding.

We come up on a car and pull our foots out of it, only for cherries to light up in the rear window of the car and shut back off. We both slammed on the brakes, hit the speed limit, passed him and waived. :bowrofl:

Sunday joyride: 6-year-old boy drives on Bronx River Parkway

An autistic 6-year-old boy drove a miniature battery-powered ATV onto the Bronx River Parkway and was pulled over by good Samaritans on Sunday night, authorities said.

...

Three motorists slowed their vehicles to surround the boy and protect him from other vehicles that might not see him, O'Leary said. Someone was able to get out of their vehicle, and grab the boy and his ride off the parkway.

"These good Samaritans got him to the safety of the side of the road," the police spokesman said. Police officers arrived shortly after.

The child was taken to Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital for observation and found to be OK. He was reunited with his family.

Ask yourself, what would it take for you to be in her situation (?)
What would it take for you to be one of the lost ones ?
What would have to be lacking in your world - your loved ones, your job, money, confidence, freedom -WHAT ?
What would take for you to be one of those odd people we shake our heads at when we pass by ?
There really isn't as big a difference as you might think. There isn't a really big buffer between us sane, normal, correct, "lucky" individuals.
When you find yourself feeling critical about someone like that, think that they were most likely someone's cherished child once. That they were a teacher's student once and that they hoped to BE once. Think of their parents at an earlier time hugging a younger version of that person you now see - smelly, offensive...... It makes it go into a different context. It does for me.

cops dont think that way, they typically treat everyone as a criminal, because that's how they are trained. cops have no empathy or sympathy.
