Mayweather is the most accomplished boxer alive.....McGregor isn't a boxer at all and holds his hands at his waist.

This is a boxing match NOT a MMA match.

As much as I hate to admit it.....but Mayweather is gonna wear him out.

And saying things like "Yea but if it was an MMA fight" would be like saying "Yea but I could outrun a Top Fuel Dragster in a road race" They aren't really the same thing at all.

I'm in it for the hype, I'm not a Mayweather fan... I hate watching him be the best defensive boxer of all time while talking **** about being the best boxer of all time. I'd love to see Connor catch him sleeping, but I doubt it will happen, his only chance is an unorthodox style and Mayweather being lax in conditioning.

No, where one of the 2 jump in a taxi not knowing they beat the opponent to death.
Then a Marcellus Wallace type character hunts them down for not taking the hit. Then yeah, maybe "come here mother ******" will go down and cha chick "you don't under stand man" and yada yada yada...the rest will be history.
I just really want that suit...

The fight with Pac-Man was boring as hell. Mayweather has talent, but his fights are not that fun to watch. I will catch the highlight reel the day after.

Based on what? Everyone who I have talked to about this fight that sides with Connor just say "ohh he is going to win", "he will knock out Floyd", but can't actually give any logical reason why that is going to happen in a boxing ring.

Younger, faster, better, moar want. That's all I think he's got, all I think he needs.

All floys fans have is stats that have gone untested or challenged in 10 years.

I don't think he's faster at all. He isn't even fast for a 145-155er in MMA. He's just unpredictable.

Thought was an interesting read: Wait. What? Floyd Mayweather breaks down the reasons Conor McGregor could (should?) upset him | MMAjunkie

TLDR:
“When you look at myself and Conor McGregor on paper, he’s taller, has a longer reach, he’s a bigger man from top to bottom,” Mayweather told Smith. “He’s a lot younger. I’ve been off a couple of years, and I’m in my 40s. So if you look at everything on paper, it leans toward Conor McGregor.”
...
But despite seeming to upgrade McGregor throughout, Mayweather still believes the fight is his.
“I didn’t say I couldn’t fight. I just said I’m not the same Floyd Mayweather I once was.”

cant tell if Mayweather is already lining up excuses, or just trying to fuqu with Conor. Making yourself sound weak and vulnerable can be a good tactic if it gets the opponent to lighten up on training / expectations.

Like others, I hate his defensive style because it is boring. But, it IS the way to play the game.

That shoulder roll-- I just wonder why others haven't adapted it.

I think Conor has a pretty good chance to win the fight. First, he might get lucky and land a square punch. With his power Floyd could go out like a light. I don't think that will happen tho. Floyd has fought too many good fighters and never has been caught. I doubt a noob to the sport will be able to do it.
The second way I see Conor winning the fight is if Floyd throws it. If Floyd wins, he will never fight again. His income will dry up pretty quick once he isn't fighting. He can't do commentary and doesn't have the squeaky clean image to get many post career endorsements. However, if he loses the fight he will still get a huge payday for this fight. Then they will schedule atleast one rematch. If they play their cards right they may get 2 rematches. Both of which will be bigger pay days for each fighter than this first fight. Floyd likes money too much to pass up the opportunity. One loss for 3 paychecks. Conor would never fight MMA again, which I think is his plan seeing as he will never see $100,000,000 from an MMA fight.

It will be an interesting fight. It will show what is more important to Floyd. Money or legacy.

That is exactly what I got from the interview. Stay tuned for rematch date.
They are leaving so much money on the table if they don't.
