1.6 to 1.8, downpipe placement
Going to a 1.8, have an Artech downpipe, 2560, begi cast mani. Going to a 1.8 begi mani and was wondering how close the 1.6 to 1.8 placement would be. Hoping that minimal fab work on the downpipe and exhaust. Really don’t want to do anything with the downpipe.
Thanks for any help.

Apparently there are children that need candy around here. Meh. . .
I tied up an open post. I’m happy with it, didn’t think this post was worth the pic, don’t care what you think about a downpipe Joe. It’s a downpipe, not making history here genius. Someone get Joe a snickers. Maybe just some candy corn. Prob won’t help.

At MT.net, if Scott's cat drops a turd on the carpet in a way which can be even remotely construed as innovative or unique, a photo is posted.
That having been said, and I say this with total sincerity, I gather that you're a no-BS kind of person.
I respect that.
EDIT: Punta Gorda? Dude, Tarpons, class of '95. Stop by the Belgian Monk bar, 41 north just south of the bridge on the right side. Ask for Dave, the owner of the joint. Big dude with a beard. Tell him I sent you, and to give you good beer. He will oblige.

Been meaning to get there, I’ll name drop for sure, thanks. I usually hit the Celtic Ray up when I need a beer after work. My daughters will be forever tarpons, I on the other hand can’t get philly out of my blood, Quakertown ‘95. Not new either, just not good at tuning which seems to be a prerequisite here. Which is why I started a build thread, want to learn. Candy will come later this week, didn’t take pics, but can, I’m proud of the fab work I did and welding my buddy did. It’s hard to rework a guy like Abe’s downpipe and make it look worthy. But still not earth shattering. If your ever down here, let me know, I’ll buy you a beer.

They're starting to serve food now, as well. Mostly Belgian pub cuisine. (As in, they literally import stuff like their waffle flour from Belgium.) Supposed to be pretty good, I haven't been there since the kitchen opened.

Last I heard they were trying to get food trucks in regularly, but the city does not look favorably on food trucks. I'm pretty sure my wife and I stopped by when a food truck we liked was scheduled to be there and they were not there. . . . we wanted food, not just beer. . . . I'll swing by and let you know how it is. . . .

Had to wrap up this tread finally.
Belgian Monk is great. Like Dave he is a good guy and delivers some good beer. Had to get the Frits, it is a Belgian bar. Brought back some good memories of my time in Amsterdam.
Joe, next time your down let me know.
