2.25" coupler, can it be "forced" to fit a 2" and a 2.5"?

I decided to order the "proper" couplers seeing as i will need probably reuse them when i put in an intercooler. I was able to find reducers and bends for about $14-15 dollars shipped from usa.

I got a microwave in the garage for just such things, try it, it works.
