What material are you looking at, stainless or mild steel? Muffler, resonator, cat? Vband? MOAR INFO PLS.

otherwise, it will cost you somewhere between $200 and $1750 on average

In my shop, a full 3" single exhaust costs between 800 and 1500 depending on what the customer wants for mufflers/resonators and if they're suppling any parts.

Thank u so much. I just wanted to get an idea roughly on how much it can cost.
I’m still to decide between the FM kit or the kraken kit

I built my 3" "catback" system for about $350. Mild steel tubing from summit, magnaflow muffler, dynomax race bullet and a helmholtz resonator made out of the tubing.

I built my stainless 3" from the downpipe back for around $400 back in 2014. Not sure how much raw material prices had gone up, but I would guess you could make it for about $500-600. Double that if you have a shop do it for you.

A rough idea on materials costs:

straight tube $15/ft

90°bends $20 each

Vbands $35 each

this is for high quality 304 polished tube. not cheap Chinese random alloy "stainless"

$120aud for 6m of 3" stainless
pizza cuts for downpipe to muffler
welded it to stock muffler

throw in another 60ish for vbands

It going to come down completely to what materials you use and if you do it yourself

With cheap mufflers and mild or aluminized piping where you make you own pie cuts and weld it all yourself - $100 maybe

If you want stainless, nice mufflers or mandrel bends it will raise up the price by a considerable amount.

I have the 3" exhaust from FM on my 1.6 na it sounds great. I'd like to point out that most of it was intended to be clamped together for example the downpipe came in two pieces. I'd weld it together if you're able to or get someone to weld it for you. I'd go a different route if you're unable to do so and don't want to deal with the extra hassle.
