Question Gt2560 Journal Bearing Turbo Rebuild Help

I just purchased a used Garret gt2560 from an SR20. I was able to take apart a majority of the turbo and was wondering if it is in good enough condition for a rebuild. The two things that worry me is that there is some scoring on the compressor housing. Second, there is a grove in the turbine shaft and I was wondering if this is normal?

Compressor Housing: light scoring, rings. fingernail doesn't really catch

Turbine Shaft

Is this grove normal or is it from spinning with no oil?

What scoring are you talking about exactly? If there is no damage to the compressor blades you should be fine.

I don't see anything to out of the ordinary from the pictures you posted.

Did you mark your shaft nut and compressor wheel before you took it apart?
