Default Acura RDX injectors....

Has anyone ever tried to bolt these into a Miata 1.6L or 1.8L fuel rail? I used to have a 240sx with a CA18DET 1.8L and a few of the guys on the NICO Club where tossing around the idea of using them. In case anyone is wondering why RDX injectors, well they are $37 a pop from the dealership and they have a amazing spray pattern. They are 410cc. They were tested by RC and confirmed they were better than there injectors as long as it was within a 12" spraying distance. They also look very similar to the set of 99 injectors i put in my 1.6L last night. That is how the whole idea arouse.

The RDX look like the connectors and fuel ends would fit, but they look too short to work with the stock fuel rail.

ya I was hoping someone with a little more resource than a broke college student could maybe take this a little further than I can. I know the older Honda engines (b-series) can use our injectors so we have to find out if the newer honda engines mainly the RDX has the same style injector.

410cc is just a little too small.

410cc is pretty acceptable for a 1.6l trying to make around 250hp and they are just so darn cheap. They also said that the spray pattern gives you far better fuel atomization, more power and efficiency to be had with that alone.

Ya they seem a little short but you think we could trim the plastic grommets a little to get them to fit? I wish i could buy a set and try and mount them on my spare 1.6L but i just dont have the cash right now. Here are the injectors i just installed and what gave me the idea in the first place.
