Abe's website has no pics and I talked with him a few days ago offering help but he is said he is just so busy and that is the reason he has not updated his website.

Here is a pic of the setup I will be starting with:

Nice looking setup. Although why are you tapering the pipe size? I'm still a bit new to Miata's :P

The tapering is for flow ie less restriction. The turbine outlet helps keep the turbine exhaust flow at max velocity as it exits and there is also packaging restraints. Regardless of make or model turbocharging is really very simple if you understand the basics. Less restriction on the intake side is also relevant on the exhaust side.

For whatever reason, I assumed that you were mounting the larger side of the piping to the turbo, and it was tapering off towards the exhaust. I do understand max velocity flow etc... in regards to turbo system and IC/Turbo piping.

No biggy brother I do the same thing all the time lol!

Abe has quite a few exhaust manifolds on some very high hp Miata's and I have never read or heard any negative reviews. You can see the quality of his products just from the JDM style welding. Give him a call as he is a very nice guy, he knows his stuff, he will talk and give advice openly and freely and a HUGE aspect of his custom work is he has a Miata that he uses for test fitting so you are guaranteed a product that will fit as if it was stock with no fuss or installation headaches.

Another great aspect and quality about him is he works with you on your budget and time frame. Take myself for instance as I will be shipping him my turbo and wastegate as I also want to retain my PS/AC so he can perfect the fitment. That sir is something that is basically unheard of these days and I know I can trust him. I support him and his shop 110%.

Alot of members here have a huge wealth of knowledge so that is a plus for both of us.

ps, Hey I have -4 props, I haz sad!

God damn, people. Wtf? This is a miata forum. A MIATA! The worlds most affordable "sports" car. Get the fu$ck over yourselves. Maybe move up to a lotus... You can go talk about how much money you spent on your new exige seats...

I will afford you the opportunity to explain to me why I shouldn't arbitrarily ban you for digging up a year-old thread in order to do nothing but insult the members of this forum.

Or look at my diy thread. I went with the flyin miata manifold, kept a/c and power steering. Quality especially in the manifold part of your build is a must. You can ebay a good bit of parts, but do the manifold a favor and save for it

The irony here is astounding, given the message directly above yours.

I'm going to cut you some slack since you've been in lurk mode for several years.

But know that post-whoring to get access to the classifieds is like pissing on the Qur'an around here.
