Another beat in the ground question
I have saved and came up with money for brainacks MS. And found out he is currently taking a break with good reason. Thats cool, But now I have to come up with an extra $300 to get PNP.
I read the DIY all in one again to use my Bandaids I have aquired. But I didn't see at what boost level you have to have an O2 Clamp???
I am tired of jacking with it. I want it done by the end of the weekend.
I have aquired an FM 2560 and intercooler kit, 2 AFPR, Bipes, MSD boost retard, manual boost controller. Yea, I had a second turbo kit I sold and kept extra parts.
Can I run 5-6psi safely without O2 clamp for awhile?

With the bandaids, it's not really a question of boost level. The O2 clamp's purpose is to ease the transition into boost. Once you're at any significant level of boost, the assumption is that the ECU has gone open-loop anyway. Basically, keep an eye on your AFR (you do have a wideband AFR sensor and gauge, don't you?) and if you see it going lean, you have a problem. If you don't, then you don't.
Since you're planning on going MS ultimately, is there a reason you're rushing into the turbo install prior to having the MS up and running?

Nice, probably the same thing Scott was building. What about Brian (Neogenesis2004) is he still making them or did he take a break with Scott? Sometime this summer ill be picking one up for sure

I'll be building them again, but it won't be for a few weeks. Have to finish my own car as well as get my act together in school. Need to finish the semester strong in order to get decent grades. Once i'm out of school i'll definitely be building more of them though. If you don't mind waiting, I can put you on the list but you'll be in a long line of others who want one.
You're better off asking DIYautotune to build you one.
