Personally I'm gonna heat wrap the manifold and DP.
Not sure about the turbine case, I got the thing, but I've read that there are some cooling down problems with it.

BTW. Soon after I posted this. I bought some Home Despot BBQ paint ($4.59/can) and painted the hot side of the turbo and the down pipe. Both are holding up fine. Only issue is that the black paint on the turbo turns into a sort of dark beige but it is holding up fine.

I have a begi mani and turbine that they ceramic coated silver. It turned um dull whitish gray. After 3 years, it looks pretty good. A few rustish spots but overall pretty good. FWIW I peak around 1700 degrees EGT.

On a previous car, I had the manifolds coated by Jet Hot. This would've been 2004ish. They were done in what at the time was their 2nd-highest temp range...and in blue.

Two owners, two turbos and one exhaust later, and those manifolds are still blue, albeit a slightly lighter shade.

Post-Katrina experience with the nearest Jet Hot (Mississippi) location wasn't so great (three tries and they never got the order correct). Maybe you'd find decent results with a different location.

One thing to note about jet-hot--

On their website, I saw that they coat the inside of the parts too. Not sure that is a great idea.

For a compressor/turbine:
$120 for extreme sterling apiece
$160 for JH2000 apiece

Yeah, that sounds familiar. If I recall correctly, my manifolds and crossover pipe (connected the manifolds on the V6, fyi) weren't coated inside. I'll see what old pictures I can dig up for any sort of confirmation.

*edit* Found exactly what I needed...and it seems my memory sucks. Manifolds and xover did have coating inside. Never had any issues from it, though.

Replacement pipe and blue downpipe were done locally after Jet Hot screwed up thrice.

Everything from the downpipe back was coated inside (sterling finish that you noted). Didn't have any housings coated.
The Sterling held up really well on the post-turbo bits aside from scratching due to install/teardown & general hands-on stuff done in the garage.

I'll check with my buddy to see what we used on the housings...

I can say from experience that Jet coating is worth the money, but if you're on a budget there's no shame in just getting the manifold coated, and then wrapping the down pipe.

My suggestion if you decide to wrap anything is to let the wrap soak in water for a while, and wrap it while wet. Once it dries it will get nice and tight.
