Default Should I but this intercooler plus piping for $250?

It looks like an older flyin miata intercooler. It's black with the inlet on the top and the outlet on the bottom. Comes with some piping. Looks like the piping goes out to the side instead of underneath the radiator.
The fins doesnt seem to reach all the way to the top. Is that normal?

I'd post a pic but the ones he sent me are over 3Meg.

Should I get this or will I be better off getting a ebay setup?

Thanks

google "windows image resizer" install that. right click the file, resize it to 800x600 and post it here.

I'd do it for the price. just whip up some piping for the hotside and you're done.

looks really nice and you know it'll work in a miata.

You have a 1.6 or 1.8?

If it's a 1.6 honestly and I were buying an ic kit, I'd get the "Stripes Pipes" for $250 and a $60 ebay intercooler. End up costing about the same but it would be brand new and pre engineered to fit.

having BEGi powder coated pipes would be nice though.

yeah, but imo the hot side pipes stand out more than the intake side, and I don't see the hot side pipes in the picture.

Thanks guys. I'll probably pick this up unless I get a complete turbo kit from turbo specialties. If I do pass on this intercooler, anyone want me to pick it up for them?
