Default Bad injectors?

I finally got a day to myself, at least a couple of hours without moving stuff or medical tests, so I swapped in these injectors:

Install went great, no leaks, but the car barely ran and my LC1 showed extremely lean. What could I have done wrong?

I reinstalled my old injectors and the car is back to normal. I just want to run lower fuel pressure for my 8psi.

What kind of engine management are you running?

Old school bandaids, BEGI FMU and 190 fuel pump.

I've got the FMU on max and I am still only getting 11.75 afr's at 8psi. I may need to calibrate my LC1, not sure.

11.75 is frigin rich as hell try 12.3 or so. you are way to rich at 11.75 to make any real power.

I was just out running the car and noticed two things.

1st, with the fmu all the way tightened, it holds the fuel pressure (when pumped up with a hand pump) and doesn't go down. If I loosen it a few turns (to run a little leaner anyways), it bleeds off the pressure and I keep having to pump it to keep it up (hmmm..). So I am assuming I should not be running it turned all the way in.

2nd, I noticed a knocking sound down low, sounds like a train hitting the connections in the tracks. I am really not happy about this. Rod knock? The car only has 31K. How long do I have before catastrophic failure? I just really wanted to take this car on a few trips this summer.
(Edit: Just ran it again and its not so bad, its intermittent and might be valve related, we'll see. I don't care, I will push it around the track. Too much to do to the civic to track it, 217k mile honda crap.)
