Default BEGI Fuel Pressure Regulator question

I just bought this car and I'm wondering if this fuel pressure regulator is set up right. On the right side of it there are just some tubes coming off and then split into two. I just think there should be a hose connecting somewhere or something. The gauge in the picture doesn't work either.

it looks hooked up correctly. the outlet is a bleed valve, they dump to the atmosphere; there are two check valves to allow for more bleed. I assume it's running over 10psi on larger than stock injectors.

the gauge will never show pressure as there is none on the return line.

Okay good, thanks for the the clarification. And I'm not sure why the previous owner would put a gauge there if it wouldn't read lol but as long as things are good, I'm happy.

Thank you.
