Default It begins

So Far I have removed everything I need to to get everything in easily. My strut brace came off, the crap under the radiator, the carpet near where I need to install the fuel pump, the JR CAI, and I have changed out the crank pulley to a stock one with a harmonic balancer. Also I have installed the bipes. Next up will be getting the BEGI fuel system in, then putting the rest in. Looks like it will be fun.

Heres my turbo, its the one on the left. In the middle is a Saab T3, and on the right is my friends T25 that will be going back into his car.

exactly. it may be a t25 or t28, but that will still slow your spool. even a mbc set to the wastegate actuator pressure will spool better.

I will worry about it after I install it. Right now I just want some boost.

the idea is simple.

at 1 psi you've started opening the wastegate ever so slightly. as the boost builds you open it slowly more and more. this slows how fast the turbo spools.

even at 8psi in both situation, when a MBC is inline, it prevents the wastegate from opening at all, untill your preload is overloaded and the boost can finally make its way into the actuator.

this will increase your spool signifigantly. as well as making sure you have a very tight wastegate rod.
