Default I'm almost there. Just need a little help.

OK. I think I have a handle on almost everything. Let me explain what I have, what I'm planning to do, and the my questions.

What I have:

An EManage blue installed with instructions from SteelRat (Thank you very much) with the support tool and carhacker cable.
330cc "plug-n-play" injectors from a Probe
an MS Protege' turbo (basically an OEM GT25r)
a Bosch bypass valve
an older BEGI 2 piece downpipe
(got a line on) a BEGI design FM mani (a little confirmation that this will work with the BEGI DP would help)

yet to get:
autotune
GM MAP for EMB
charge piping and connectors
manual boost controller
plumbing for Bosch bypass
boost and A/F gauges
plumbing for water and oil for the turbo.
Air filter and associated intake piping

Future plans:
full 2.5 exhaust (near future)
IC

Please confirm my plumbing:
The cam box vent can either be open to the air (with a filter) or piped into the turbo intake between the MAF and the turbo.

The IAC valve bypass hose routed into the charge pipe right before the throttle body.

The Bosch bypass in place between the the charge pipe (right before the throttle body) and the turbo intake (between the MAF and the turbo).

First, please let me know if any of this is wrong.

I understand what the autotune does, my question is where do I get the signal for the switch (from the pressurized side of the turbo)?

I'm still not sure what the GM MAP for EMB does. Do I need it if I'm using the autotune? Where do I get its signal from?

Any help or suggestions on this would be great.

Thanks,
Tony

By A/F gauge, you do mean LC-1 right? If not, you should make it that, or AEM Uego, JAW, or some other wideband AF monitoring system.

So...that's a good question. What is a good way to monitor A/F (where does an A/F gauge get its signal)?

I'd suggest the Innovate LC-1 with gauge or without from the forum member Wideopentuning on here. It comes with everything you need to monitor and log your a/f ratio with Emanage Blue. You'll need to get a bung welded into your exhaust near the cat flange on your downpipe for the wideband sensor itself.

post your EMB specific questions in the E-Manage forum for better responses.

you could also get the JAW WB AFR gauge for a little less, but it has a different style gauge. It also is capable of datalogging though

I thought that the Autotune includes the pressure switch. My question was what signal do I feed to the pressure switch?

I'll post these two questions in the emanage forum.

Thanks.
