Unhappy Blue Smoke Blues...

My FP "big T-28"s oil seal let go on me. So I've be tossing around going over to the Evo 16g since I have a log manifold and downpipe all made up.

So I'm turning to you guys for input. I have a BP punched over .040 with B6T rods. I'd like to see 300whp and I know the evo 16g can handle that, but being an autoxer I'm always worried about lag.

I don't know...what do you guys think?

My only experience with a 16G was in my old AWD talon...that was a "big 16G" and had a good little bit of lag even on the 2.0L 4G63 motor...

Which 16G is it, the "big" 16G or the "small" 16G?

It's the Evo 16g...I think it's bigger than the big, BUT it has liter wheels.

my friend has the evo 16g and his laged alot on his set up. i have the gt25bb turbo alot less lag great for auto cross. i would say that for auto x you want a small turbo, but 300whp would be hard to get. i am at 200whp with my gt25 and with a good tune and meth injection i can get 240 whp. with a gt28 you can go close to 300whp with a good tune. but you have Fwd so lag might be your friend so you dont break loose.
