So i finished my six speed swap last night and motor install went for a ride and it held 10psi right on the money until 5k then it creeps to 15-17psi. This is on a evo 3 big 16g with a 44LB/min wheel. So i don't know what to do to fix this problem so any help on this would be great.

Are you running a boost controller or just running off the spring pressure in the wastegate?

 

You need to include more information about your setup. How are you controlling the wastegate? What does your exhaust look like? IWG? EWG?

 

You've got a built motor. Run it to at least 17 psi and tune for that. Low boost on a large compressor mitsu turbo never works. Maybe on a 14b or 15c (or whatever the stock Greddy kit has). Not on a E316G, 18G, 20G.

Im running a MBC on the car, the wastegate is internal with an external dump. Im only tuning for 10psi for a DD tune then i am going to DYNO tune next week for my race tune 23psi.

 

Could you write a little bit more infor about your high volume oil pump? I saw FMs page about this but haven't heard of anyone running one.

I got the oil pump from TOGA and i also have an upgraded oil pump gear in it for higher HP.
