It is possible that there was some residual stuff from the install, but if it is actually dripping that sounds like a leak. Definitely check the oil lines. Leaks are usually pretty easy to spot.

i have had the car a couple of years. i am mechanical minded and i have fixed or improved several things on the car. i am learning as i go..the turbo was something i have wanted to do and i understand how it works. thanks to all the information you guys have on this website. really has made me want to know more about this car and the drivability of it. plus all the things this car is capable of. i am a fast learner but i am not a mechanic. i have replaced starters and rebuilt them on a vw bug and have owned several motorcycles and repaired them before. but building an engine ,valve jobs, etc..no i have not but i am willing to learn..i probably need to get a repair book..that might be good.do you guys know any one i should by?

I agree with dustinb, have the mechanic check it out. Oil leaks aren't normal. If your engine compartment is CLEAN, you should be able to see a fresh leak. If your engine is BLACK and GOOEY with oil..... well...
If you decide to look for it yourself, be sure to check for the leak at it's HIGHEST and most FORWARD point on the engine. Oil leaks down and back.
I had a cam seal leaking and the oil blew back onto the oil return line. To the untrained eye it may have been pegged as a leak from the turbo setup.
