Default Choosing the right turbo.....

Im looking to put a turbo kit together from scratch. How does an Ebay gt28 gtx2871r dual ball bearing billet compressor wheel turbo t25 .64ar look? I know I'm probably going to need to up grade in the future but I would like to start off with something solid. Power goal is 300 who. I will be doing all supporting mods. Injectors, megasquirt, clutch and so on . Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This poor dead horse.
1) your turbo choice makes no sense. How can it be a t28, a t25 and a gtx2871r?
2) power goal is 300whp, what supporting mods do you have and what are you adding? Motor/trans are likely your limiting factor and beefing them up will cost a pretty penny.
3) brass tax: that turbo will make 300 yes

advice: do more research and learn how to use google and/or the search function of this website.

I ran a journal bearing version of the ebay GT28, see my build thread if you dare. TLDR, I wouldn't run it for over 300whp, I killed mine pushing it too hard. However it was a fun turbo and spooled a lot better than the ebay 3076 I went to afterwards.

Don't be a dipshit. He made valid and helpful points.

You will need forged rods, a 6 speed, and possibly a diff depending upon what year you have, which you also neglected to mention. If you want good answers then you should provide all relevant information and ask succinct questions.

The Chinese ball bearing turbos are known to fail more than the journal bearing versions.
