CX Racing Turbo Kit

CX Racing Turbo Kit
I'll probably regret asking this question. But first, I'm not used to forums and I tried to look for my answer before asking a redundant question. I understand I'll probably run into issues, but I want to go cheap as possible without waiting awhile. The MKTurbo kit seems the best for its buck but I don't have the patience. Does anyone on here have personal experience with the CX turbo kit off ebay? Roughly $1,400.
Apologies if this has been asked too many times.

You'll have plenty of patience after you blow something up with cheap parts. Do your research and build something you're proud of.
The MKturbo kit is probably the best budget kit available. Other options are maybe FM's no-electronic offerings.
Or build your own kit piecemeal, but that will take even longer.

You can't boost a miata reliably quickly for cheap. The CXRacing setup has a poorly fitting manifold that will probably need modification. It has a turbo that is not properly sized for the miata. The downpipe is pretty crappy. The IC pipe routing requires cutting into your shell.
The only companies who may be able to ship a turbo setup within a week would be TSE if Savington has turbo's on hand, and FM, but I believe even they have a few weeks lead time.

Are we talking about the thin wall log manifold that has cracked hundreds of times? Or is it the long tube "thick walled" version that seems to be at least a little better? From what I've gathered, quality on the long tube version is much better, but fitment is not up to par.

I've only seen pat weld his up like 10 times, but he's especially hard on things. I have no interest in cheaping out. More curious if they actually started to figure **** out yet. I was guessing they didn't.
