DIY Launch control switch and E85
Wondering if I can get some info or your experience with launch control and E85.
1st - More specificity a launch switch between the clutch wire??? So I can turn launch control on and off
2nd - What do I need to run E85?
My current setup is a turbo NA 1.6 miata with MS2 and flow force 600cc injectors. Just finished the build an wanna get it dyno tuned soon.

As far as I know, you need an MS3 to run a flex fuel sensor. Mainly because you want to tune it on e85, then do a blend map, so the flex fuel sensor interpolates between your pump gas and e85 map depending on the ethenol content. MS2 can't do that.
For the launch control, yeah you wanna run a switch in line with the clutch switch. So both the clutch and the toggle switch needs to be activated for LC to work. Again, with an MS3 you can also use variable launch control, to change the RPM according to the conditions.

Looking at an MS2 project, it does look like you have a flex fuel input, although ironically it looks like your only input pin choice is LC unless you figure out CAN on an MS2, so you might only be able to have one. You could also make sure you continuously run pure e85, and tune accordingly (no flex fuel sensor). My only concern is that the flex fuel sensor settings on the ms2 are similar to the closed loop idle and closed loop boost control on ms2. Aka, they're there, but their creators never intended them to work well.
