Must be one helluva cool turbocharger if there is no oil feed line, only a return line. Turbo must be producing its own oil. I need to get one of those, I'll save tons on oil and never have to worry about changing it.
Thats it, I'm changing my setup. Here is a list of things I think I'll need:
torbocharger
intercooler
boost controller
injectors
what do you guys think? I dont want to pay 1500 for a kit when learning how it works will make my car boosted. Thanx guys
*On a serious note though, OP you really need to use the search function. There are literally hundreds of threads here with absolutely every piece of info that you need to successfully boost your car and achieve your goals. Before you do that it would be a good idea to make an intro thread so we at least know that you're not some ******* wasting our time, then fill out your profile so with location and what not so that we know where you are, fill out your sig with what you already have, and lastly: PLEASE try to at least put a tiny bit of effort into spelling/grammar so your post doesn't look like that turd I flushed down the toilet a few hours ago. If you put in a bit of effort to be a decent forum member you'll be surprised at how nice the folks here will become

^bs dude, u didnt read ****
hit search, go advanced and type in diy, and only select the diy turbo subforum
then read the 423,456,722 treads on the subject...
and have fun being pissed when 50% of those threads are just as dumb as this because people dont bother seeing if the topic was covered before
Geee, look a turbo miata forum...hmm, let me post my question about a starter turbo setup cuz I seriously doubt any of the previous 50,000 members have ever considered something as unique as this....

This forum is really hard on noobs so just get use to it, I have a FPR if you want it pm me. you ill also need a cone air filter I sell them if you want one of those too. AMSOIL Ea Air Induction Filters (EaAU) and if you order use reference number 1606736. If you want to make sure you get everything you need look up a FM or BEGI kit and run down the parts list.

Buy the Greddy kit. You are starting from zero knowledge, so why try build a turbo system when you have no idea? Get the greddy, install it yourself, understand what is going on, and then sell the kit and build your own (if you really want to).
And yes, this has been covered a zillion times.

The first thing would be a fourth-grade equivalency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills. And I'm completely serious about this. By and large, things which are written in the style and tone of your message tend to be ignored (or worse, derided) not just here but in the world at large. Presumably you will at some point be attempting to join the workforce, and I assume you know that no employer would even bother to wipe his *** with a resume which in any way resembles what you've written here.
I know, you're one of those folks who had adopted "texting" as their primary means of communication, where that sort of thing is the norm. Well, tough. The shift key and the punctuation keys are there for a reason. And if you have trouble remembering that the word "please" has two "E"s, an "A", and an "S" in it, many spell-checking programs are available.
Moving to the more serious side, the second thing you are missing is knowledge. Before you go any further, you need to buy and read this book. Yeah, I know it'll reduce your total budget by $23.07, but trust me, you need this.
Third, you're asking a really tough question, and I don't think you realize this. You want to build a "16g" turbo setup, you think $1,500 is too much to pay, and yet we don't even know what parts you already have. Assuming you don't own a TIG welder (ie: you're going to have to buy your manifold and pipes) it's gonna be interesting. Even a Chinese-made knockoff turbo is gonna eat up 1/3 of your "budget". So you're not really being a realist about this.
So try and understand why the folks here aren't just falling over themselves to spoon-feed you information.

I'll put the flaming for grammar and searching aside as most everyone has covered that quite well.
I was in the same position of having very very little knowledge about what goes into a turbo setup when I began here. Ultimately, it took a lot of reading. Hell, I had to google 'wastegate' to find diagrams to figure out what the thing does because written descriptions were too confusing to me.
I would really recommend a Greddy kit - I went with it because I didn't want to take on the hurdle of actually piecing a diy kit together with so little turbo knowledge. It is exactly what you want, 5 psi, no intercooler, and you could probably be happy for a while if you just want a slight bump in power.
If you are dead set on not intercooling, though that may change as you learn, I would say add water injection to your list.

one thing that you will need is a fuel pump! i recommend a walboro 190hp, you can get it for fairly cheep, a duel feed fuel rail and bigger injectors will also help.....and as far a boost range.... you should be able to run up to 8psi of boost un-intercooled.
