Default DIY shopping list

my plan;
Starting from; all stock with a somewhat smoothed out base tune
finish up and perfect N/A tune, replace injectors, retune. Install shiny turbo parts. Tune on wastegate pressure. Install ebc. Retune. ????. conquer the world.
the way its supposed to be done, nothing special

what i have;
-SR20 T25 (A/R 80 if it matters), fresh rebuild from Gpop
-Brain built MS3X
-kraken-cast manifold
-kraken-made 2.5" stainless downpipe
-oil/water connections and lines from kraken

Remaining necessities;
-Injectors. No idea what to budget here, probably 2-3 hundred? Stock supra injectors were my plan, plug and tune and whatnot
-cx racing (ebay) intercooler
-2" hotside and 2.5" cold side piping and couplers from siliconeintakes
-replacement wastegate actuator (7-9 psi) probably ebay, might yank one out of a junker if i find one
-remaining exhaust, will fab myself.

Future necessities;
-clutch upgrade, probably FM happy meal after stock one barbecues
-bov? i may run without one at first until i turn boost up, if surge is too bad ill get it sooner than later.
-coolant reroute? Street car and whatnot. Not sure if necessity, but is budgetted for

am i missing anything? Any suggestions for changes?

FF INJECTORS
Get an ebc from diyautotune

Don't waste your time on the Supra injectors, EV1 still need matched too small......all kinds of wrong. I started with RX8 injectors and ran out of fuel before I bent rods......now I have FIC 650's. There are a few good companies who clean and flow match injectors pony up and pay once.

flowforce fit the bill pretty nicely. 640cc seems like extreme overkill, but also leaves me tons of headroom on my power goals, with capabilities for E85. Excellent suggestion, im sold.

Very good point on the bov.
As for the ebc, ill probably go without until i get bored of wg pressure, or i snipe a good deal, whichever comes first. And yes, an iat came with the megasquirt.

I've had excellent luck with an OEM mistibuishi BOV, just get the metal body gen 1, most gorgeous for 50$ish.

Injectors? Deatschwerks. $300-$400, PnP and very nice injectors for the money. I wasted a lot of time with clean/used RX7 injectors.

Wideband? Will be very important if you intend to road tune.

I don't know which century you're getting your info from, but ev6 dw's are considered bottom barrel mediocrity here.
For 400 you can be running actually good injectors, like ID1000.

My info? Personal experience. Best place to make recommendations from. YOMV.

I didn't claim they were the best? Just better for the comparable price versus a used set of properly cleaned/flowed Supra Injectors.

ID are going to cost at least $100 more than DW. If you've got the change and breathing room in the budget, then I absolutly agree with you. However, this man was talking about used Supra injectors so...

+1 on the FF 640cc, Nigel is an awesome guy and provides great customer service. No complaints from me. ID1000's sound like they are the way to go but I didn't want to fork out that much and got mine used at a good price. I've read stock clutch starts to slip at like 4 lbs of boost, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

flowforce 640s are what i think im gonna get. Theyre a bit excessive for my power goals and fall right into my price range, but they have plenty of headroom for when I decide to go big. FM happy meal will replace the stock clutch, I'd like to see how long it holds though, just for funsies.

Power goals aren't the only reason that you want the FF's. EV14's are so friggin nice for ease of tuning. Vs archaic supra injectors!

+1 on FF640's. Great injector for the price. Once I got it dialed in (make sure you switch to sequential fueling), they run and idle MUCH better than stock.

Also I'd recommend the SuperMiata street clutch kit. I have it and used it for 1 race season, no complaints. Feel free to come drive it whenever.

If you need help wiring sequential fueling, just shoot me a call.
