Default Cat Flange

Hi guys,
I'm still N/A but working my way towards boost slowly now that I got a job. My car's PO put a mufflermart 2.5" special on my car that's pretty gross (crush bent tubes, pipe welded directly to the cat) and I made it even worse by trying to add a cherry bomb with a stick welder back before I knew about the importance of cleaning your metal. It's shagged now. Weld rusted and cracked and now my car sounds like the Gamestop manager's civic with someone trying to strangle the tin man in the back. My idea is to basically make a resonated test pipe that goes all the way back to where the old exhaust was welded/clamped on (right before the diff), then use a butt style clamp for the time being. When I can afford the time and money to do the complicated bends around the axle, I'll attach the official MT approved muffler. (btw how loud will it be N/A? anyone know?). I've searched and can't find the right flange for the header-cat connection anywhere. Is the scope of my search too narrow and everyone but me understands that the universal flanges will work on anything? I'll have some questions about DP making and maybe even manifold design, but I should probably just figure this out first.
So, anyone have the connection? Bonus points if I can get it before I drive 3 hours for the holidays

Thanks for the suggestion. The guy at the muffler shop just had a bunch of flanges in a drawer and pulled one out with the right bolt pattern. Great guy, gave me the flange and some pipe that looked like stainless for $7. The car isn't a raspy and exhaust leaky mess now, and it seems even more mellow than before the welds broke.
