Default Does this kit look familiar to anyone?

I'm looking at a kit a guy has for sale locally that he is parting out. He said he didn't see any sort of stamp on the manifold or turbo.

I figured someone with knowledge here could let me know if it was a jalopy DIY kit, an old FM or Begi kit, or hopefully not an ebay kit.

The support bracket for the turbo alone has me worried.

If this is in the wrong section I apologize.

Judging by the part of the exhaust manifold pictured below which I've enhanced a tad, it appears to be an OBX-style manifold, possibly from en eBay vendor.

Examples:

Mazda 90 97 Miata T25 Turbo T 304 Megan Racing Stainless Exhaust Manifolds | eBay

Product Name - OBX Racing Sports

OBX Turbo Manifold Header Mazda Miata 99 05 1 8L T3 | eBay

Definitely not anything ever sold by Bell, FM, or any other reputable vendor.

Thanks, I assumed that just by the price he is asking, but you never know sometimes you find a good deal.

Haha he was asking $1000 OBO for the entire car, so I'm sure I could of gotten it for $100 or so but I am definitely going to pass.

Hopefully a good brand manifold/downpipe and/or kit shows up soon in the classifieds.

That thing has an external WG on a pipe welded to the downpipe flange... looks like it is supposed to take flow from the stock WG passage. Those designs when done by a professional doing his best work don't work all that well compared to one coming off of the manifold.

Do the owner a favor and pour gasoline on it.

A little late to the party.... but I emailed him questioning about the parts and turbo etc... His reply was fantastically informative: "the car has 118k miles, costs 1k and doesn't run." Well now that I have seen those engine bay pictures I understand why it doesn't run.

Ummm, what would his definition of bad be? Only way those seats would look worse was if they had a decomposing corpse in them.
