Default Exhaust qusetion?(strange idea from a friend)

So My buddy just got a pipe bender and he is going a bit nuts with it right now. He wants to build me a turbo back exhaust with two 2inch pipes running side by side, then separating into two small ebay fart cans.

I told him he was a fool.

He told me he would supply the fart cans, all I had to pay for was the two inch pipe. He even said he would try to do a short, third, smaller pipe for a divorced wg.

I told him he was a fool.

He told me to ask you guys what you thought about it.

I told him...well you get the point.

So, is he a fool?

Where does he plan to split the exhaust into two?

not so sure about that yet, maybe it would be better to do after a custom downpipe? or even a begi?

Also, my setup is going to probably be a t3 50trim soon. So thats what this will be going on.

why make twice as much work? it will also cost twice as much...

is it a mandrel bender? if not, i wouldn't bother with doing an exaust with crush bent tubing.

Plus there's not too much space in the tunnel, two 2" pipes would weigh more than 1 3" pipe, etc.

It's your car, after all, is two fart cans what you want?

His ability to bend pipe does not mean he is able to bend tubing which is what you should be using for your exhaust. That would probably sounds horrible and me super annoying.

Sounds like it will go terribly wrong and you will have wasted money.
Do it right the first time is the cheapest method.
