Default Garrett GT2560s Isuzu turbo

I and a few other people have found ourselves with a gt2560s not to be confused with a 2560r or 2560rs. The 2560s is a factory turbo from a diesel Isuzu npr engine most likely the 4hk1. The name and size are close to one of the most common turbos used on Miata’s so it’s easy to get confused and end up with one if you know nothing about turbos (like me). As far as I can tell everyone that has come to own one of these turbos has given up on trying to make it work and sold it, thrown it away, or lit it on fire. I however do not harness the same level of intelligence as these people so I have taken upon myself to once and for all run the infamous gt2560s on my Miata. I will update this thread later one with all the information I have learned so far, I have had the turbo for about 6 months or so and I believe I’m very close to running it on the car but we shall see in the coming weeks.

Keep us posted. When I was doing my research on turbos to use on my NA8, I looked into turbos from the RB family. Ultimately gave up as I'm not much of a fabricator (for the downpipe) and I found a deal on a new GT2554r.
