Blah Blah Blah. My current system is not the best, but really it's not bad at all. And it is completely custom, made with my own hands, and sounds wonderful. I'm not expecting huge gains with the 3" and this set up, though I'm sure there will be gains. A couple hundred rpm better spool maybe? I dunno.

Honestly, this 3" is just a loaner from Jason. My real exhaust won't be ready for a few weeks. And it's gonna be SICK.

When I read the thread title I was all ready with:

"What? You plan to **** her twice?"

What a waste.

You're kidding. Your had the most badass looking duals on a miata I've ever seen in my life. And you're changing it? Take some more pics before you remove it. I one day would like to copy it.

I know, they do look great, thanks. And they sound terrific too, and that's what's been taking me so long to go bigger.

However, this new set up will be pretty nice too*, trust me when I say that.

*What's coming in a few weeks I mean. Nothing wrong with the awesome looking system that was just dropped off, but it won't hold a candle to what's coming.

anywhoo--got the sewer pipe installed. it definately breathes better up top, but i took it pretty easy. datalog shows max throttle position of 80% and at 10 psi where I'm running 13:1 instead of 12:1. didn't hear any knock. I added some fuel and I'll try it a bit harder tomorrow.

special thanks to Jason and Enthuza for coming through for me.

SLASH CUTS!!!!

Yeah I really do like the aesthetics of the old exhaust. And it sounds sooo sexy. But it wasn't going to flow 400 hp, and well function > form.
