gt2560r Wastegate porting for 3" exhaust ???

Curious if anyone can tell me how wildly you need to port the wastegate on a gt2560r to keep a boost level of around 10-12psi Im just looking for 220whp and would like decreased spool time with the 3" exhaust but dont want to run into alot of creep issues. so im asking this question before I order my exhaust
is this enough porting to run 10-12psi with 3" exhaust ? https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1406338745 https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1406338745 |
I'd widen the valley up to the width of the hole if I still had the housing off. If not, run it and see what happens.

anyone else wanna chime in ? gotta be a couple thousand members on this site with a 2560 and 3" exhaust

I just made this thread last week
https://www.miataturbo.net/general-m...aterial-80058/ tl;dr remove more material then I did, I still have creep. Look at Kenzo and Erats pictures. |
your down pipe design could have something to do with creep. I have a 2560r only the inside being ported and it's fine. I have 3" exhaust too. 0 creep for me. by the way there are like 10 old threads wth multiple pages on this junk. search harder.

Did you buy this turbo form BEGi? they should have ported it then
