thank you albumleaf.....

a. Everyone shows their product in the best possible light, its called marketing.... I am sure you don't advertise your small, flacid ***** when you go out to meet women, do you?

b. From what I saw, they did show comparisons of their product to others, including dyno overlay of gainsl.... as well as video of comparable wastegate how it leaked and their didn't

c. I didn't see them lying or calling people gay, so I can't comment on this one.

I didn't come across them from ebay by the way. There is a guy named Corky Bell, don't know if you have heard of him, he is kinda into miatas and performance cars, but he gave a good report concering their products. It also seems that there are a lot of reputable vendors selling this product, so I don't know where you got this whole ebay rant about.

All this hostility about ------s? What's the deal.... you worried about you sexuality b/c you drive a miata? I'm not, so come up with a new insult..... like cuntrag or taintlicker, something new

Further adjustments are a simple plug-n-play selection of vacuum lines. Figure <2-minutes to stop, pop the hood, configure, button up and start driving again...

(And yes, it was Corky that ID'ed the source for the external WG.)

Mojoriffic -

Spend a little time reading and researching older threads. Hustler may have several moods he is willing to display, however he is not lacking in intellectual capacity nor fear from confrontation, physical or otherwise.

Taunting him (or many of the other senior members of this forum) is not a wise plan if you desire a long term tenure as a member...

Who want to take the over or under, I suspect if he doesn't chill he will either be banned or disappear (ie create a new account) within a month.

As for the f***face, thinking I can't get a woman, etc.... Well, for fun I AM CALLING YOU OUT again. Why? b/c you know nothing about me, as I know nothing about you except for your inability to answer a person's question when they are seeking answers, and your propensity toward being a total jerk on a public forum. You are gonna get in my head? Sounds like you want in my ***. But, you aren't capable of either, here is why:
A. I have seen plenty of people like you, in person and on the net.... never in my life have they been able to "get in my head".

B. I am not a ------.

Thank you very much, you have brightened my day with your shining example of stupidity.

you're a virgin and your mom goes to college. I was talking about this last night with your girlfriend at the bar. She's one of those that will basically go home with anyone because of what you've put her through with your **** about "I don't like vagina because its gross." I considered enriching her life for a moment but ran into a few miss universe contestants and ended up showing them what its like to feel like a woman for the first time in their lives. Just give up dude, hit up a mo-bar and get charged up...you're only cheating yourself.

You know, I just got back on a read all this. I would like to say this

1. All I wanted was a legitimate question answered.

2. Sorry if I overreacted, but again, all I wanted was a legitimate question answered. We have local forums here for all the guys that race and like cars..... so usually I have had my fill of BS by the time I get on and ask questions b/c all the guys around here are LS1 and 5.0 disciples that don't know a thing about hitting a curve.

3. What does being a senior member have to do with anything? I didn't start in with insults.... and if a Mod wants to come in a ban me b/c I give back what I have been dished out, then go ahead and ban me. This is not a dare, I am just asking for a little consideration before you ban b/c I bite back. And no, if I were to be banned.... especially for circumstances such as these, I would not create a new account... that is intenet anonimity BS, IMO. Some people are on forums for fun, some are on for info and community about their interests, I happen to be the latter.

Again, my apologies for getting sucked into the BS. Apologies to everyone to Hustler, of course, he can still eat a cockmeat sandwich

Dude, I'd let it go. I've been stalking this board for years while building my project car, sometimes going to senior members houses and watching them sleep through the windows, just getting as much info as I can on how to do this build. This site is great, even if you have to take the occasional beating.

To the original question: I'd give the BOV a shot; the faster and better you can vent on the upshift the better (less inertia loss in turbo = more power after shift)

Ok....bringing up an old thread here....well old'ish

what is the verdict on synapse BOV
Compared to HKS SSQV or tial...the synapse is a little cheaper and from some of the things I've seen, better quality.

I have NO experience though...just from reading on different forums and googling my *** off.

I really wish someone else would answer of OPs question

^ I've looked into synchronic myself also. Looks wonderful. Piston style pull bov. Looks great sounds preety good. But my diaphram bov works for me as of now. Maybe when this one goes bad I'll give synchronic a try. The logic behind non diaphram seems great and the response of the piston to the throttle cracking open and close is nice. I say go for the synchronic and give the forums your opinions and critique on it.

I did a search, and their info goes back to California based company. I looked at all their videos and it seem that the guy that claims to have designed and built the units speaks American English. Their product looks to be top notch, and every video they show seem to show a superior design to other units in the market. So unless you either have owned some of their product (which my origional post was inquiring about) or have factual knowledge as to their product being both "cheep" and "chinease" ( also know as cheap and chinese) I would prefer you leave your comments to yourself. Thank you very much.
I believe their stuff is manufactured in China, and it shows. I have a friend with their gate and BOV and the WG failed, warrantied once, denied the second time, and now he has a 52mm TiAL and it works.

I should also note that Synapse really likes to test China-bay knock-off WGs and BOVs and not test genuine TiAL stuff. Some of their video tests are really stupid, like the one where they stick the WG in a water tank to show that the chamber is sealed. Some chambers bleed off pressure for a reason, like the TiAL stuffs.

I had never heard of this company, but apparently they were the ones who invented the 'missing link', which i know of well from messing with hondas. Its basically a check valve for the MAP sensor that prevents the stock ECU from hitting boost cut when boosting on an FMU. which is pretty stupid on a honda since the stock ECU can be tuned better than any aftermarket standalone Ive ever seen...
