well.. technically... that would be (nearly) infinitely stiffer... I've heard horror stories of engine damage from solid mounts in come of my previous car communities. Most of them were retarted so I don't know how much truth there is to that.

Can someone post a good picture of the MS motor mounts? I received mine and they look too much like the original OEM ones

they look almost identical to the stock ones. I couldn't tell them apart at first glance aside from the stock ones being worn out :)

I got mine from Moss a couple days ago. Here they are. "Competition" is written right on the label.

Loki047 10-27-2006 05:55 PM

yeah they look stock the only difference is the rubber

PaKMaN 03-17-2007 02:40 PM

Instead of the MS one . does anyone know where I can find those "Competition". I just need something more stiffer than the MS?

Those are the only two made by mazda...there ARE other solid motor mounts out there and some poly I think? they are pretty damn expensive.

PaKMaN 03-18-2007 06:12 AM

I'm loooking for another brand besides mazda. I want solid mounts

akaryrye 03-18-2007 10:09 AM

get wood blocks cut to fit into the cups and install studs where needed, thats what I did.

Just kidding, i got the M Comp ones and they are great.

Splitime 03-18-2007 10:38 AM

You do not need those, but know how they work. (PS. Mazda Comps are 36 dollars)
