It is because, like me, you live in a flat state with dead straight highways and not a ******* curve in sight. Not even on the little two lane roads. Straight, 90* turn, straight, stoplight, straight, 4-way stop, straight, ocean. Why do you think I drive 8 hours to North Georgia to go driving for fun?

As much as I cant stand OH, we do have some decent roads. I'd imagine there would be some decent roads near the shore.

However, it really doesn't matter what you want to do with your car as long as you can show you're taking it seriously and do work. Otherwise it's going to be the flame game

just about every part of this post is bullshit.
its NOT a touchy subject, in fact most other drag race threads went very well. reason this one blew dicks is because OP and his noobish ways. he'll learn though.....or just run off. either one.
Don't think you have room to talk about unfinished projects either: both failflower and jtothewho have non-running cars. yet both talk mad **** about how everything is slow when they post, and nothing less than 1000whp is adequate. neither has gone past 400whp yet.
You haven't started anything major yet either, and already you post in just about every thread about how you drag racers are hated on, blablabla and how everyone is a closed minded moron. this emo bullshit is getting old.

why not just actually finish the build then see the reactions you get?

I promise you if your **** is really fast and actually runs, I'll be the 1st to drool over it and give you props over and over again. I love drag racing. so do many others on here.

You live in southern OH. Just 2 hours North on 75 and you are back to boring flat lands.

Miata's suck as drag racing platforms. Kudos to those who use them for such, but many other cars are much better to get your straight line fix. Some of the same issues that make them less then ideal for straight line also hinder them in sliding sideways. The Miata is just a good all around car to play around in and cost pennies to replace if you do end up wadding them up into a wall.

That said, I need to grow a set and take the Smurf down the track.

I seriously just spit my drink all over my screen reading this

You remind me of those fat black chicks that overreact when McDonald's doesn't have any ketchup.
