Can you confirm that it's boost related and not RPM related?

Okay it seems to be more rpm related it smoothed out a little it seems, but in the 3000 to 4000 rpm range is where it vibrates

What is your spark plug gap?

Is overboost protection turned on? What is it set to?

What ECU?

You have thus far given us a dogshit description of how your car is equipped and what the problem is. Are you even using a standalone? Harmonic balancer coming off of the crankshaft? Is it vibrating or misfiring? There's a big difference.

Sorry your right I havn't. Gap is set to .34, no overboost protection, MS1PNP, it's definitely not misfire we checked that. I'm thinking one of the previous suggestions might be the cause, the exhaust- it was rather difficult to get the downpipe in place and I'm wondering if it's making contact somewhere

sounds like PPF to gear box alignment or one of the PPF bolts is loose. had the same problem before

.... You don't have an exhaust, and you're wondering why your **** is all vibrate-y when you give it the beans?

Oh. Ok.

Hahaha. I have an exhaust and my **** still vibrates like a bitch at certain rpms. It's probably your "exhaust" notes resonating throughout the cabin. Hard or soft top? If it's soft try dropping it and see if it helps.

WTF. I was giving my feedback on his weird *** issue with vibration. Not trying to **** in anyone's thread.

I think somewhere along the line something might have gotten mixed up. I have a normal catback that's loud and resonates at certain rpms causing things in the cabin to vibrate. Thinking the the OP's problem might have something to do with that. Just sayin..

You mean the fact that he doesn't have an exhaust means that there might be some vibrations?

Yeah just from the lack of his exhaust resonating and being so loud. Maybe I'm just being at idiot but when I first installed my exhaust it was so loud it vibrated all kinds of stuff in the cabin. Then I welded a resonator on it and it toned it down.

If that doesn't make sense I'll butt the **** out lol

have you checked the PPF? or are the retarded thoughts on exhausts more important?

Unless you've driven a boosted car with no exhaust, you probably shouldn't be saying that pinpointing that as a very real source of big vibrations is retarded.

His PPF may very well be out of alignment. I wouldn't be able to tell if that was causing the vibrations or not in a car that didn't have any exhaust under hard acceleration.
